Three steps from application to first payment

How dispatch works — in 3 steps.

Apply once, pick the days you want, and reply to each dispatch in a single tap. No phone tag, no instant-reply pressure.

01

Apply to the roster

Share your TEFL / CELTA, your CV, a previous-academy reference and your current antecedentes. We add you to the dispatch pool within a few days; the average review takes less than a week.

02

Receive a dispatch when you opt in

Our dispatcher sends a Telegram or WhatsApp ping — the academy, the time, the room, the group, the CEFR level, and the lesson plan link. Tap once to accept; tap once to pass.

03

Walk in and teach the plan

You follow the academy’s lesson plan as written. Parents and students see a regular cover teacher; you get the day-rate and a PDF invoice back through the dispatcher.

Apply to the roster

We dispatch up to 10 matching teachers per confirmed cover. The fastest acceptor takes the room. 96% of covers are booked inside the morning window.

The dispatch process

Four steps from application to your day-rate.

BellCover turns unplanned English-teaching gigs from a stressful WhatsApp scramble into a routine operational event. One matcher at the same time, every morning.

  1. You receive a match

Our dispatcher sends you a Telegram or WhatsApp ping — academy, time, room, group (niños, adolescentes, adultos), CEFR level and lesson plan link. Reply to accept or pass in one tap.

  2. You confirm in minutes

Once you accept, your profile summary is forwarded to the academy — name, qualification, the ages and levels you teach, and the languages you speak in class. BellCover holds a hello thread open for last-minute questions.

  3. You walk in, teach the plan

You follow the academy’s plan as written — we send it forward the moment the academy confirms. Parents and students see a regular cover teacher; the lesson runs to schedule.

  4. You get paid

BellCover issues a PDF invoice for every engagement. On the standard track a small per-job fee is taken; once you join the €10/month Teacher Membership the per-job fee drops to 0% for as long as you stay subscribed.

What we ask of you

BellCover’s gate. So the academy gets the teacher they expect.

Every teacher in the dispatch pool has walked through the same checks the academy would run themselves. Let’s set your expectations before you apply — these are the fields the academy will see.

Qualification

A recognised TEFL or CELTA certificate at 120 hours or more, plus observed teaching in a private academy setting.

Background

A current Spanish background check (certificado de antecedentes penales) on file — or the local equivalent for cross-border teachers.

References

At least one placement reference from a previous academy, taken directly, before you enter the dispatch pool.

Day-to-day

Reach the academy on time, run the lesson plan as written, send the dispatcher a one-line summary after class.

Pricing for teachers

Pay per job, or join the membership and skip the per-job fee.

The standard track is pay-per-accepted-job with a small BellCover agency fee taken on top. The €10/month Teacher Membership drops that fee to 0% for as long as you stay subscribed. The full comparison and FAQ live on the pricing page.
